Hey guys.
This is a little issue that’s been on the site for a while now, and kind of bugging me.
In the past, I have been given numerous warnings for ‘Post count spamming’. Since getting these warnings, I have refrained from posting 2 word posts, and starting replying with more detailed posts that people would benefit from reading.
I have noticed, and I am not going to give any names, that a few people on this site are still doing this.
I cannot express enough that when you are on the other end of someone posting meaningless, crap posts it kind of pisses you off.
I would just like to tell these people that a post count is a meaningless figure. However high or low your post count is, it makes no difference. You could have a person like myself with a fairly high post count, around 1 and a half thousand, but have a vast amount of short, rubbish posts, whereas someone with 50 posts could have long, detailed and posts with good content that would benefit the community on TheCoDZone.
If you do not know, TheCoDZone has a reputation system. This is what you want to be high, although this cannot be ‘boosted’. You get this rep by making detailed and good posts, you will then gain a so-called ‘respect’ from fellow forumers.
So just remember, before you click the submit button, make sure that the post would be worthy of reading, would be good for someone or be of help to them.
So that’s about it really, join the battle to fight against post-count spamming!
