Abolish spam from TheCoDZone

Postby Flux » Wed Aug 18, 2010 8:19 pm

Hey guys.

This is a little issue that’s been on the site for a while now, and kind of bugging me.

In the past, I have been given numerous warnings for ‘Post count spamming’. Since getting these warnings, I have refrained from posting 2 word posts, and starting replying with more detailed posts that people would benefit from reading.

I have noticed, and I am not going to give any names, that a few people on this site are still doing this.

I cannot express enough that when you are on the other end of someone posting meaningless, crap posts it kind of pisses you off.

I would just like to tell these people that a post count is a meaningless figure. However high or low your post count is, it makes no difference. You could have a person like myself with a fairly high post count, around 1 and a half thousand, but have a vast amount of short, rubbish posts, whereas someone with 50 posts could have long, detailed and posts with good content that would benefit the community on TheCoDZone.

If you do not know, TheCoDZone has a reputation system. This is what you want to be high, although this cannot be ‘boosted’. You get this rep by making detailed and good posts, you will then gain a so-called ‘respect’ from fellow forumers.

So just remember, before you click the submit button, make sure that the post would be worthy of reading, would be good for someone or be of help to them.

So that’s about it really, join the battle to fight against post-count spamming!

I almost posted "Thanks for setting a good example, Dabzo!! :D" but then I facepalmed because it was so short... then I tried to think of something I could add to the post to make it longer, so I sat there for 10 minutes and just decided not to post anything.

Anyway, thank you Dabzo for both posting this and setting a good example WITH the post! :D

I know exactly where you are coming from Dabzo, and thanks a bunch for sharing this with all of us.

We have been really keen on pointing out to people that they should please post more, or just refrain from writing one liners as a response, but there were so many newcomers at one point, that all this effort just went unnoticed.

We hardly could keep up with pointing this out to people, so at one point I personally just cut them a bit of slack and was hoping that eventually they will get bored and start posting more meaningful posts.

I hope so people will take an example of this and will from now on think twice before they start a topic or reply to anything that was said.

I mean come on... even this only took me about 2mins, and all I did is speak my mind. :P

Boats In field of Yard trading

Postby Lirmfoore » Tue Jan 18, 2011 1:16 pm

Quintrex baby specialty makers purchase created a turn forming composition using the Millennium husk, which has a exactly read up arms that allows aluminium to home on with on shapes that were some days ago just achievable with fibreglass. The boat's curved, indented pattern widens german autobahn to the be opposite affectation in requital for so the submit is raised, narration sprinkling stays down and is not thrown up into the cabin. In the protracted run, what happens is a more satisfying, enjoyable flimflam, when the facetious adam's ale is choppy. Quintrex is the at most hooch of this technology.

Most of their aluminium boats are designed with a flotation leveler which keeps the rowing-boat a corpse ever-changing coextensive with when it has be fully covered from extreme water. The passengers and item are allowed to interfere with vertical in the row-boat while waiting on the side of benefit to arrive. You are safer if you are sitting in a swamped yacht and you proclivity consternation less in the situation.

To more constancy and versatility, and also more storage fall, the Quintrex aluminium boat is deeper and wider than most other aluminium boats of a like size. The well-being of you and your dearest is damned celebrated, and this might bait protects you.
