The new rules list 19th June 2010.

1. a) Spamming/Advertising/Flooding - Spamming or Flooding pointless messages which are posted repeatedly and/or serve no purpose other than to cause trouble, advertise or make profit. Advertising products, services or websites is not permitted and if we notice this in your 1st post you will be banned outright. However, advertising products and web URL's does not include YouTube links if they are placed in the correct forum and links to products if, for example, you would like people's opinions on something you're considering buying.
1. b) Advertising - As stated previously, advertising has a strict policy. If you want to advertise a YouTube link or clan website for example please use your signature space and if necessary create a thread in the appropriate area. Please refrain from bumping your own threads with the intention of advertising or you post may be locked. If you're here to advertise please contact an administrator for information regarding our fee for advertising.
2. Modding/Hacking/Glitching/Cheating - We do not condone Modding, Hacking, Glitching or Cheating. This includes but is not limited to boosting and rank hacking. Discussion is allowed but limited. For example; ranting, general discussion and videos are allowed but tutorials on how to perform mods, hacks, glitches or cheats, advertising, or links to download mods will result in a warning and the removal of said post as we do not support any form of an unfair advantage.
3. Trolling - Deliberately posting provocative, overtly negative or controversial messages with the intention of causing disruption and/or argument or to make the troll the centre of attention. Trolls will quite often try to "bait" other members into breaking the rules or embarrasing themselves. Don't be fooled! This also includes cyber bullying and/or posting hateful messages. We are a friendly community and want everyone to get along. Impersonation of staff or other forum members will also be seen as trolling and will result in an instant ban on the account and any other accounts registered by the same person.
4. Excessive Profanity/Disruptive or Discriminatory Content - This includes but is not limited to racism, any form of discrimination, excessive swearing and explicit pictures/videos/media. Swearing is allowed but no one likes a potty mouth! This also includes "shock" pictures and websites, sexism, pornography, profane, hateful, threatening and illegal content. The severity of the punishment will be decided by our staff depending on the content posted and the level of threat it represents.
5. Be Safe Online - TheCoDZone staff will never ask you for any private information. We expect the same from community members. Think before you post any content which could violate your privacy as this is an open forum and can be seen by anyone. Never give out personal information unless you know who you are talking to and you have taken into account the potential consequences. Accessing someone else's account without their permission is against the rules and will result in your profile recieving either a warning or ban (whether it's temporary or permanant) depending on the actions taken whilst signed in as the other member.
6. Multiple Accounts - We do not allow the use of multiple accounts. If you wish to have your username changed you can do so by messaging an administrator. Creating a new account is pointless as you lose all your posts and identity. However we have a limit on how many times you can change your username which is once every 6 months. If you want your name changed before the 6 months has expired a donation is required. Upon name change we will however allow you to secure your old username to stop it from being registered by a new user. You may contact us to have this enabled.
7. Chatbox - All forum rules extend to the chatbox. Please keep the chatbox for small talk. Do not post images, links or other media as we would prefer for it to be free for users to be able to have a proper, uninterupted chat with the community. Please keep youtube links to the "Promote Your YouTube" forum or appropriate topics in other forums.
Profile Limitations
•Avatars should not be more than 30Kb (30,000 bytes) or 150x100 pixels in size.
•Signature images should not be greater than 75Kb (75,000 bytes) or 500x300 pixels in size.
