Real Life CoD4

Just saw this and I thought it was pretty interesting. I had no idea that it was based so closely on an actual place!

I've seen pictures and videos of Chernobyl and the disaster before and I was amazed at the detail that Infinity Ward went into to get it perfect. The job they did was unreal, almost exact. The swimming pool and ferris wheel are probably the most amazing things they did. Would love to visit Chernobyl someday though I believe it's closed to the public due to radiation, but that's just internet rumours so I'm not sure.

I doubt they do all-inclusive package holidays to nuclear disaster sites :/

I sometimes watch documentries about chenobyl because i find the whole thing interesting and plus all ghillied up is my all time favourite mission on any game also if you type in chenobyl on google theres loads of pictures of the babies born after the accident and they have really big heads and stuff because of the radiation

I was aware of it, but have never seen this clip before.
These rumours started popping up even before the CoD4 game was launched.

There used to be another clip where they showed exact locations in CoD and compared them to real life.
I have to say that the detail is amazing, and I love the fact that you can play through something that actually exists in real life.

In the same level where the swimming pool is, you also have a school there and they managed to get that 1 to 1 with the real thing.

In MW2, Karachi is apparently also an exact copy of a part of town they have. Don't quote me on that though, hehe!

LOL! I think most of us actually knew that!
What I means was that the map of Karachi actually resembles a southern part of the city.
It's a bit like the Chernobyl map, and it being drawn from real life!
