What's the best silence-able pistol?

I am new to CoD4 and my experience is pretty awesome so far. Can anyone tell me what the best pistols are to use in which situations? What is the best silence-able pistol? I want to take everything into consideration. I have looked all over the Internet, but found nothing useful. Looking forward to hear your advice and ideas. I would sincerely appreciate any assistance you experts can provide.

Let's see, one of the best silencable pistols would be the USP, (imo) due to the little recoil and relatively good power, it's open from the start and can be fired pretty quickly too if ya know how to use it.

The M9 is ok, i havent spent too much time with it but it's an okish pistol, but it can be twitchy, with times getting a large amount of kills, and others getting hardly any.

As soon as you get the Desert Eagle, you wont want to use any of those previous guns much, maybe only on stealth classes, due to the high power in close proximity, making it 2 / 3 shots a kill.

In short though, If you want a pistol that can be used in longish range with decent accuracy, stick with the M9 or the Usp (silenced or unsilenced, again depends on play style) but if you want your pistol for anything close or medium range stick to the Deagle or when Low leveled the usp or m9 again

The deagle has extreme recoil though :/ I would settle for the M1911 or the USP if I want some smooth easy kills.

The deagle's beast, you just have to not fire so fast and adjust your aim down a bit to allow for recoil. I reckon I could beat a lot of people deagle vs machine gun, lol.

When it comes down to it, the silencable pistols dont behave much differently to one another. However, once you get to the Desert Eagle, there is no turning back. A lot of people criticise it for its bad recoil, but trust me, get into a tight situation and 99% of the time if you can aim you will survive
