call of duty is great for someone that wants to start playing a call of duty game and that doesn't need much to run it. if you told me that you wanted to start playing a call of duty game but not sure where to start, I would say start with call of duty (the original version) and take it from there. players are much nicer on cod than cod2 from my cod2 days and I'm not gonna get in to that right now lol. due to my laptop vista having 1.7GB cpu and cod2 needing 2.0GB it lags and drags like heck, been a long time since that I've been in a server on that game and went back to my cod and uo. I had to change some things in my config file for cod and uo to run smoothly without lag so now I don't lag anymore

. with cod2 being a DVD game, means higher detail and graphics = more ram,cpu etc that is needed. cod and uo is a CD so that's why it runs better than cod2 and newer games just for those of you who doesn't know much about computer gaming

.
short specs sample for cod,cod2,uo.
cod2
needs atleast 2.0GB cpu and 512MB ram to run good.
cod and uo
they need atleast 800MB cpu and 256MB ram.
